Friedrichs Funeral HomeWilliam “Bill” Gorman, 91 passed away with his son David “Dave “Gorman by his side, on July 25th in Arlington Heights, IL. Bill was born on October 27, 1923 in Chicago, IL to Florence (Brennock) and William “Mike” Gorman. Bill was the loving husband of the late Jeane nee Cochran for more than 49 years. They shared a family with daughter Carol, and son Dave (Karen) and grandchildren Michael, Joseph and Sean. Loving brother of Gloria (the late Theodore “Ted”), Dolores( the late William “Bill”) and the late James (the late Lola) and many loving nieces,  nephews and family.

Bill loved art and worked as a commercial illustrator for more than years 60 years, he continued working at his passion until he was forced to stop due to his illness. Bill served as an Army Sergeant and battle field medic during WWII in Europe. He enjoyed sports, especially his beloved Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bears, and watching his grandsons play sports.

A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, July 29th from 3:00-9:00 at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. at Northwest Hwy., Mt. Prospect, IL. Funeral Thursday 9:30 AM from the Funeral Home to St. Emily Church. Mass 10:00 AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
