Aurora Koeppen, nee Jackisch. Beloved wife of the late Ernest R. Koeppen, fell asleep with the Lord on October 17, 2016. Daughter of Aurora and Elmer Jackisch, born August 3, 1928 in Crete, IL. Loving mother of Bruce (Christine Niekrash) Koeppen and Tom (Jane Mellon) Koeppen. Cherished grandmother of Christine (Alex) Carlson, Jeffrey (Kim) Koeppen, Kiara Koeppen, and Jenna Koeppen, and great grandmother to Lauren and Devin Carlson and Kaitlyn Koeppen. Dear sister of Frederich and the late Eleonore, Ruth, Marie, Herbert and Robert. Beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 304 W. Palatine Road, Prospect Heights on Saturday, October 22 at 10 AM with a memorial service at 11:30 AM.
Internment immediately following at Ridgewood Memorial Park in Des Plaines.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
